CAN I SIGN MY CHILD UP FOR MORE THAN ONE WEEK? Absolutely! Registration is by week, and each week of camp is considered a separate session ( no addtional registration fee ) with its own design theme. You are welcome to register your child for as many weeks as you like. Space is limited and on a first received payment .
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY? A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made 10 days prior to your scheduled 1st day of camp (see dates below). No refunds or changes will be made thereafter. Camps are nontransferable. No refunds by phone.
WHAT WILL MY CHILD DO DURING A WEEK OF CAMP? Your child will explore that week’s design theme through a variety of experiences, including, but not limited to: • Hands-on design activities that challenge them to solve problems, work as a team, and bring their ideas to life. • Outdoor activities using Playworks Curriculum • End of the week exhibition of students work. Families are welcome.

SHOULD I PACK A LUNCH AND/OR SNACK FOR MY CHILD? No. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily by Dekalb County Schools. If your child has a food allergy you will need to provided substitutes.
IS THIS A NUT-FREE CAMP? The Inventors Club Camp is NOT a nut-free facility.
DO YOU OFFER BEFORE AND AFTER CARE? Yes Before Care only: 7:00am - 8:00am $10 After Care only: 4:00pm -6:00pm $15 ( snacks provided ) Before & After Care: $20 ( snacks provided for aftercare)
DO YOU OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS? We do not offer scholarships at this time.
WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS MEDICATION DURING THE DAY? If your child needs any medication throughout the week, please give the medication to the Camp Staff at the check-in table on the first day of camp. Camp staff is not allowed to dispense medication; all medication must be self-administered.

Summer Camp Each week will have a different theme and campers will present their solutions each Friday at 3:00pm Week 1 Trash IT! Identify problem with the way we make or handle trash. Week 2 The Force of Nature Identify a community that could experience a natural disaster. What happens when a natural disaster happens in that community? Week 3 Senior Solutions Identify problems that seniors may face everyday, Examples, grandparents, aunts, great grandparents or how can we make the world a better place for people with physical disabilities?
Week 4 Design Challenge Identify innovative techniques used to design homes, cars, and fashion. Explore all the new technology to make the world a better place.
Is your child a designer, tinkerer, or creative thinker? Inventors Club offers four week-long immersions in the latest advances in design for kids ages five to fourteen. To kickoff each week, will be engaged in a real-life design challenge. Campers will receive our STEM summer camp t-shirt.
